Welcome aboard Donal!

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

Woohoo - the management team is now complete with the addition of Donal English to our global team.

To say we’re happy that we’ve convinced Donal to join us is an understatement.   Apart from being smart and a nice bloke, Donal gets SaaS and he gets Integration, sounds like a perfect match to us.

Check out his bio, I think you’ll agree.

WDCi achieves MSC status

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

It’s official, as of December 4th, WDCi is a Malaysia MSC status company.

We look forward to continuing our growth in Malaysia and appreciate the support and assistance of the MDeC team.  Special thanks to Matthew Barsing and Kamelinder Singh for all of their support and assistance throughout the process.

It’s great to see the Malaysian Government continue to support the development of Information Technology and the growth of IT skills and knowledge.  We’re very proud to be part of that process and we look forward to further developing our SaaS integration skills and outsourced delivery capabilities in Malaysia.

WDCi partners with Boomi

Monday, December 1st, 2008

After months of product evaluation and shortlisting WDCi have become the Boomi Partner for the Asia Pacific region.  Boomi is the leader in on demand integration, with a true multitenant solution.  We plan to use the Boomi technology to implement our Rapid Integration Offering, or RIO as we like to call it.  With RIO we can integrate in days rather than the months it takes with typical on-premise integration solutions.

The Boomi technology allows us to integrate into leading hosted applications such as SalesForce, RightNow, Netsuite and Taleo, as well as accounting packages such as QuickBooks and MYOB. Boomi also has enterprise class connectors for SAP and Oracle products, in fact Boomi has a really large list of pre-built connectors. Using a range of protocols including Web Services, HTTP(S), FTP(S) and email as well as JDBC and plain old file polling WDCi can integrate to just about anything whether on premise or hosted.

What about security you may ask. Boomi infrastructure, hosted by OpSource , has been deemed SAS70 Type II compliant as per the audit requirements of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Within the integrations Boomi support certificates, password encryption and more.
